I simply call it the next generation of your Windows Server management tools. This is what it says on the official Microsoft Docs page of Windows Admin Center. It comes at no additional cost beyond Windows and is ready to use in production. Windows Admin Center is a locally deployed, browser-based app for managing Windows servers, clusters, hyper-converged infrastructure, as well as Windows 10 PCs.
